Let’s find a place for all this new Stuff

Christmas is over and we have a lot of new stuff, which means finding a place for all of it.  

I am in the mood to get this house in order. Starting with the kids spaces. 

So I revisited some of my Pinterest boards to see if I am still Pinspired by any of them.

Here are some of my favorite ideas…

I do have a 3rd grader and one in Kindergarten so as you can imagine reading is a pretty big deal over here. This nook would be a great motivator to get some noses buried in books.

Just perfect for all the clutter that has accumulated over the past Few Years lifetime!

I have an old computer cabinet that could easily be painted and used for storage like this one below

I’ll add that to my “goals” for the new year…

Use Chalk Paint (that I bought last year)

Baskets are one of my favorite organizing tools.  There are so many attractive and affordable options.
Here are 3 of different shapes and sizes to coral all of your toys and kids’  stuff.

Land of nod, Target and Container Store

I don’t want to fool you with all these pretty photos and ideas.
Right now my house is in utter chaos
with cardboard boxes and trash bags.
EVERYWHERE

It’s easy to find pictures on Pinterest,
but a little more difficult to execute with the Mini’s home all day – every day.
Even though their things cause my house to be messy and unorganized, I know that their time as kids goes quickly, so I will not let it stress me out (too bad)

But I’ll need to wait until after they go back to school to start this project because…

I do acknowledge my control issues and

 I am okay with the fact that I am not perfect (even though it’s hard to admit)

BUT…

I hope you enjoy your vacation as much as we will and are inspired to do a little organization too!
